Klamath County Elects New Sheriff

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — In Klamath County, for the first time in 12 years, there will be a new sheriff in town.

A last minute write-in attempt by supporters of current Klamath County Sheriff Tim Evinger failed to gain enough support to re-elect him, with only 16% of the vote.

Frank Skrah will take the office, with 55% of voters backing him. His other opponent, Michael Angeli, received 29% of the vote.
