MEDFORD, Ore. — Local organizations are remembering Karen Greenstein this week. Greenstein was killed in a deadly crash when her car was hit by a wrong-way driver on I-5 early Thursday morning.
The Ashland Independent Film Festival is making its final preparations for the event to begin this Thursday. Those who run the event are remembering a fellow worker. Greenstein was a volunteer at Will Call for the film festival for five years. The film festival plans to commemorate Greenstein at the awards ceremony on Sunday.
There will also be a celebration of life ceremony held in Greenstein’s honor at Ashland High School on Sunday morning at 11.
