June 21 Weather Forecast

Another warm day across the region but we are going to see clouds increasing this afternoon and evening.  Chance for thunderstorms late this afternoon, the area with the greatest risk will be the Cascades and Northern California.  Could see some showers along the coast as early as this evening ahead of a cold front that will be moving into our area tomorrow.  The heaviest rain will be falling tomorrow from the coast to the Cascades with lighter showers to the Eastern side of the mountains.  Rain showers continue Saturday but we’ll get a break from the rain Sunday before the next shortwave brings us another chance for rain on Monday.

With the passing of the cold front tomorrow we will see temperatures across the region drop 15-20 degrees.  There is a possiblity that some storms tomorrow will bring small hail to the valleys.

Thanks for logging on and have a great day!
