The warming trend starts today but is off to a slow beginning with temperatures only a degree or two warmer than yesterday. As we head into the weekend we are going to warm up quicker as a strengthening high pressure system sits to the west in the Pacific. The warm and dry trend will continue through Father’s Day this Sunday.
As we head into the next work week a few shortwave troughs will nudge their way into the area knocking temperatures down a few degrees for the beginning of the week. Once summer official starts on Wednesday we’ll see a ridge build back into the area bringing unseasonably warm temperatures back to the area.
Thanks for logging on and have a great day!
