A cold front will be passing through the region today bringing cloudy morning conditions and cooler afternoon highs. The upper-level low will continue moving East through the week which will amplify the ridge over the nation into the Pacific Northwest. The ridge that’s been bringing the heat wave to the nation will start to bring our area above normal temperatures as we move into the weekend.
The rest of the week will be dry and sunny, so firework safety is important as fire danger level is still at a moderate. With windy conditions along the coast a mis-shot firework can spark grass and turn quickly into a wild fire.
Thanks for logging on and have a great Fourth of July!
