Today will be similar to yesterday as the upper-level low continues to usher in showers and thunderstorms today. The best chance for thunderstorms will be along and west of the mountains this afternoon and evening. These storms will be scattered with some areas seeing little to no rain and other seeing heavy downpours. The chance for showers and thunderstorms continues tomorrow with rain likely on Friday.
On Friday an upper-low embedded in the jet stream will swoop down and scoop up the cut-off low dragging it out of our area and quickly to the east. As that system pushes east we’ll see the return of the ridge that’s bringing the heat wave to the nation shift west and return hot and dry conditions to our area for the weekend and next week.
Thanks for logging on and enjoy your Wednesday!
