High pressure remains over Northern California meaning the smoke from the fires is going to continue to add to the hazy skies across the region. Two upper level lows will start to influence our weather starting today and continuing through early next week. They will help nudge the high pressure back to the east providing some relief from the haze.
The upper level lows will be ussuring in enough moisture for the chance for thunderstorms in the mountains and eastern side of the Cascades starting the afternoon and lasting through tomorrow with a slight chance into Saturday. Most thunderstorms will be well north and east of our area but there is still a chance, mostly in north Lake and Klamath counties.
The cooling trend starts today, but it will be gradual and continue through next week bringing temperatures back to seasonal for this time of the year.
Thanks for logging on and have a great day!
