MEDFORD, Ore. — An administrative judge has sided with Medford school employees in their recent complaint against the district.
The complaint was filed with a labor union board claiming the contract given to employees in 2011 was unfair. The district faced a budget shortfall and asked its employees to take an 8% pay cut. The contract also required employees to contribute 6% of their wages to their pension accounts.
A school official and a representative from the Oregon School of Employees Association say this case can be appealed.
