JOSEPHINE COUNTY, Ore. — Saturday marked the final day of this year’s Josephine County Fair. And officials said they are very pleased with the turnout.
After more than 20,000 visitors passed through the gates on Wednesday alone, Josephine County Fairgrounds Manager Wes Brown said that entering Saturday, the event’s attendance had already surpassed last year’s totals. “We’ve learned that it’s important to have something for each age group. Something for everyone. And to offer entertainemnt for those age groups as well,” Brown said.
Fair organizers experimented with free admission in the mornings of the first two days.
