CAVE JUNCTION, Ore. — The Cave Junction City Council has determined the person who received the most write-in votes in last month’s election is qualified to fill a vacant council position.
John Gardiner provided the city with DMV records showing he had been a resident since November 6th of last year.
Gardiner will be sworn in along with the other council members next month.
