Jackson County Fair Introduces App

cell phone

CENTRAL POINT, Ore. — If you plan to go to the Jackson County Fair next week and are wondering the best places to eat, or what music acts will be there, now, there is an app for that.

Project A software company has developed a smart phone application specifically for Jackson County fair goers.

The app gives people a new way to interact with fair activities by rating attractions, exploring maps, sharing on social media, and checking to see when certain events are taking place.

“We looked at the analytic and 50 percent of the people that come to the website are coming on their mobile phone and that’s very high in comparison to other organizations that we work with. So we knew that an app was important and we are excited to see what people do with it, said Project A President and CEO, Jim Teece.

The information from rating in the app will also be used to improve the fair in years to come.

The app is already available in the app store for iPhone, and will be coming soon to android devices.
