A weak cold front is moving through the Northwest this morning. This is bringing rain showers to much of Southern Oregon however these showers will be winding down by 8 & 9 o’clock. Most showers that develop into midday will be along and west of the Cascades and won’t drop much, if any, measurable rain.
The second half of Friday will bring sun and decreasing clouds. By Saturday, mostly clear skies will allow for temperatures to soar again. Highs will be in the 70’s for West Side Valleys throughout the weekend. Sunday night into Monday another weak front will sweep through Southern Oregon.
This will bring light rain overnight & into Monday morning, but the remainder of the day will be dry. Behind this front is very cold air and temperatures are now reflecting this cooler air mass for the start of the next week. They’ll cool down 15-20 degrees for Monday. Our next bet for rain doesn’t look to arrive until Thursday and the models have backed off on this chance as well so I have not even added it into the forecast just yet.
