Interstate Crash Causes DelaysNEAR CENTRAL POINT, Ore. — Oregon State Police (OSP) responded to a crash on I-5 Sunday afternoon.

Just before 2 p.m. a Toyota Sequoia crashed into the median apparently rolling on its side. Troopers say the driver was speeding among other violations and lost control of the vehicle.

Department of Transportation officials reported one lane closed going northbound for a period of time near milemarker 33. OSP officers say the crash ended with a criminal citation, the driver charged with reckless driving.

    my money is on her either texting or on her phone ‘hands free’ (with phone in hand but not to her ear). sick to death of these people who think they can ‘multi-task’ while driving. we need to prosecute people who violate the no cell phone wile driving law. just one conviction and people will think twice instead of flat out ignoring the law. enough is enough. nothing, no call, no text, is worth killing yourself or others.
