Medford, Ore. — There are some plants that do well in hot, dry weather like we’ve been seeing. That includes succulents.
Succulents are plants that have stored water in their tissues. Their leaves tend to be thick and fleshy. The leaves are often rounded and usually packed closely together.
Many succulents are adapted for very arid weather, but others require damp, moister conditions and less sunlight. There are several different varieties.
