Medford, Ore. — You shouldn’t let the lack of a green thumb keep you out of the garden. In fact, gardeners say, you can easily grow your own green thumb.
OSU Master Gardeners say the first thing you need to do is gain knowledge. The best way to do that is through reading books, taking the master gardeners’ class and talking with fellow gardeners.
There are also some key tools you’ll want to start with. That includes a moisture meter, Ph meter that has the ability to test the soil temperature.
For more information, watch this ‘In the Garden’ segment and call a master gardener near you.
