Medford, Ore. — OSU Master Gardeners say the basic rule of rose care is fertilizing every six weeks.
When it comes to fertilizing, they say you can use systemic fertilizer or an organic fertilizer. If you chose the organic fertilizer you’ll have to take an extra step to control bugs.
Along with pests, you’ll be dealing with powdery mildew, black spot and rust. All of those things impact the leaves of your rose bush.
