MEDFORD, Ore. — Rogue Valley Microdevices is one step closer to finding a new contract start-up company.
RVM and the Sustainable Valley Technology Group are hosting a grant program called iGrant.
The winner of the grant will receive $150,000 in services and resources along with a lab from RVM to help get their start-up company off the ground. RVM says this grant will help diversify the economy and increase hi-tech businesses in the Rogue Valley.
“From our end its really very technical so our goal is to get them to the point where they have a working prototype that they can present to investors, present to their customers and sort of get them the rest of the way to go so they can move forward with building their company,” said Jessica Gomez, the CEO of Rogue Valley Microdevices.
Two finalists have been chose for the grant. The winner will be announced in the beginning of November.
