PORT ORFORD, Ore. — This past Monday, Port Orford law enforcement responded to a call in which a citizen reported the discovery of a human skull at the Anchor Inn RV Park.
The Major Crime Team for Curry County was called to help with the investigation and found other bones in addition to the skull, the following day. The human remains were taken to the Oregon Medical Examiner’s Office in an attempt to determine the deceased victim’s gender, identity, and cause of death.
The Port Orford Police Department is asking that anyone who has lived in the Anchor Inn RV Park in the last five years please contact Chief Marvin Combs at 541-366-4567. Also, anyone who has any information regarding this case should contact Curry County Dispatch (non-emergency) at 800-543-8471 or their local police department to provide a statement.
Additional information will be realeased as it becomes available pending investigation with both the Major Crime Team and Port Orford police.
