Huddleston Murder Trial Enters Day Three

4-11 huddlestonMEDFORD, Ore. – Investigators are revealing new evidence in the two-year old murder case of a Medford woman.

Bourne Huddleston appeared for the third consecutive day of trial Friday. Huddleston is accused of killing his wife after trying to hire someone to do so.

Prosecutors brought a lineup of witnesses presenting evidence against Huddleston. An autopsy report reveals the gunshot to the head that killed his wife was fired from a distance, indicating that it was likely not suicide.

Meanwhile, digital forensics reports show a laptop confiscated from Huddleston’s car had been used to access articles about strangulation, and the use of the drug Succinylcholine as a murder weapon.

Forensics teams also revealed blood had been found on some of Huddleston’s clothing, although no DNA test was done to link it to the victim.

The trial is expected to last another seven days.
