The cooling trend kicks off today and last through the weekend, however, temperatures will remain above normal through next week and with normal temperatures on the decline it’s getting harder to catch up! This weekend marks the last official weekend of summer so get out and enjoy these unseasonably hot temperatures but remember to stay hydrated, wear sunscreen and dress for the warm weather.
Hot and dry weather will persist through next week with the only chance for any moisture in the form of drizzle along the coast due to the marine layer. The marine layer will continue to build along the coast in the overnight hours and last through the mornings all weekend long, something to consider when on the roadways.
High pressure builds back in the area next week but we won’t see quite the jump in temperatures we did this week. Temperatures will remain above normal with sunny skies persisting for inland areas.
Thanks for logging on and remember to like me on Facebook to ask me any weather questions you have or share your weather photos!
Have a last weekend of summer and stay cool out there!
