Homicide Near Chiloquin, Suspects Sought

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – The death of a 28-year old man has been ruled a homicide after Klamath County investigators found his body on South Chiloquin Road near Highway 62 Monday evening.

The victim, Cheng Sio Saechao, had previously resided in Portland. The investigation is currently underway, and officials are naming several persons of interest involving the case. Police are also asking for the public’s help in locating a vehicle of interest, a blue 1990’s Jeep Cherokee possibly displaying Arkansas or Arizona license plates.

David Guy Mogelberg, a Klamath Falls resident approximately 33 years of age, is believed to have been involved and is already wanted on a felony charge for assaulting a public safety officer. Mogelberg is described as a white male, approximately 5’5” and 155 pounds with neck tattoos.

The second person of interest is an unidentified white adult male. Both of these individuals may be traveling with a third person as well. The men were last seen driving the aforementioned Jeep Cherokee. The vehicle has mismatched rims, with black front rims, silver on the right rear, and a 5-spoke white rim on the left rear.

Officials on this case are advising the public to avoid approaching these men if they are spotted.
