Holidays Begin In Southern Oregon

JACKSON COUNTY, Ore. – The Ashland Festival of Light will be on Friday, November 23, with the grand illumination at 5:45 p.m. This is the 20th annual celebration. Then, on Saturday the 24th, Phoenix will have it’s annual community Christmas tree lighting at 6 p.m. at the triangle lot.

Jacksonville’s Victorian Christmas will kick off with a parade and tree lighting at 6 p.m. Friday November 30. Grants Pass Christmas Parade and tree lighting is also November 30. November 30 is also the day the Providence Festival of Trees open to the public. You can stop by Friday the 30th, Saturday the 1st, or Sunday the 2nd to see all the trees which benefit a good cause.

The Medford Winter Light Festival is set for Saturday, December 1 in Vogel Plaza at 6:30. On December 6th, the Annual Snowflake Parade will make it’s way through downtown Klamath Falls. Eagle Point will have it’s Christmas tree lighting and festivities Friday December 7. Central Point will have a lights parade Saturday, December 8 on Pine Street. The final tree lighting ceremony will be in Talent at 6 p.m. Tuesday, December 11.
