GOLD HILL, Ore. — The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a hit and run crash this morning that caused a mess in Gold Hill.

According to the sheriff’s office, a Clearwater Technologies truck was forced into the side of Gold Hill bridge by an unidentified black truck, which caused the Clearwater truck to spill waste.

Clearwater Technologies employees immediately began cleanup and were eventually assisted by Oregon Department of Transportation. Officials say that none of the waste from that truck got into the river, and no harm was done to the environment.
