Highs 10 to 15 above Normal, But Sunny

video preview image

Hot weather stretches from the Sacramento Valley to the Brookings area (where the Chetco Effect took the high up to 92 on Sunday)…and of course the heat was widespread throughout Southwest Oregon, with highs from the low to mid 90′s.  Most locations in the Klamath Basin were in the mid 80′s, while the Cascades were in the 70′s to low 80′s.

The hottest weather is just ahead, and will last for another three or four days.  The hottest two days are expected to be Tuesday and Wednesday, with a good chance we will touch 100 on Tuesday, and stay in the upper 90′s on Wednesday…before cooling back closer to 90 on Sunday of this upcoming weekend.
