The high pressure responsible for the heat wave last week will be building into our region again the next couple of days returning highs 5 to 10 degrees above normal for inland areas. We won’t get quite as hot as last week, we won’t see the humidity, and the thunderstorm threat is minimal. Any thunderstorms will be isolated and mainly in Klamath, Lake and Siskiyou counties.
A trough from the Gulf of Alaska will push into the Pacific Northwest Thursday and Friday bringing a brief cool down with highs at or just below normal on Friday. Then the high pressure in the southwest builds back in, how strong will determine how hot we get next week!
Thanks for logging on and have a great Tuesday!
