CENTRAL POINT, Ore. – Fall is just around the corner, and that means the Harvest Festival is here for the weekend.
The Jackson County Expo Center filled up Saturday as crowds came out for a brew fest, pie eating contest, BBQ cook off, and more.
Headlining the festival are more than seventy craft beers, most of which from Oregon and Northern California breweries.
Attendees say the beer selection is evidence of Oregon’s exploding craft brew industry.
“It’s a totally new environment. It’s something I discover more and more each day,” said Caitlin Farquhar, an attendee at the event.
The Harvest Festival continues from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free for everyone.
