Hall of Fame Coach, Jack Ramsay, Dies

RamsayNAPLES, Fla.– The man behind what some consider Oregon’s defining sports achievement has died. Hall of fame basketball coach, Jack Ramsay, died Monday morning.

He coached in the NBA for parts of 21 seasons. During that time he lead the Portland Trailblazers to the 1977 NBA title. He then started a long career as a radio and TV analyst for the league.

He was 89-years-old.
