MEDFORD, Ore. — Amanda Taylor will be the homeowner of Habitat for Humanity’s 50th home in the Rogue Valley. “I’m so proud of my community. I love this area. I moved away and came back. There’s just nothing like this community,” Taylor said.
This will be the first time in awhile that Taylor and her family will be able to live a home with individual bedrooms and a working heating system.
Habitat for Humanity is still raising money to finish the home. Saturday the organization received $15,000 from Wells Fargo. The project will need $50,000 total.
Organizers hope to have the home ready by March.
