Dozens of police and search and rescue workers were at a property on Rapp Road in Talent on Wednesday. By Thursday, police said they have returned the property back to the homeowners and dive teams finished searching through a pond near the property.
Police are not saying what specifically led them to that location or if they have found anything, but they said the homeowners are not suspects, and that they have cooperated with police. Thursday, police also served warrants on a vehicle, and at a location in Ashland. Neighbors confirmed it was at an apartment on Wightman Street.
The car has since been returned and police have left all of the search locations. The owners of the home on West Rapp Road in Talent did not want to comment on the investigation at their property, Ashland Police say officers will continue to follow up on leads in this case.
