Grants Pass Police Seeks Volunteers

gp policeGRANTS PASS, Ore. — Grants Pass police are now giving people the chance to help officers as a volunteer.

The Department of Public Safety announced it is accepting applications for its auxiliary program. Auxiliary officers perform support services that may include foot and park patrol, traffic control, vacation house checks and special events.

All volunteers must be available for 16 hours per month for a minimum of one year.
