JOSEPHINE COUNTY, Ore. — Late Friday evening a Grants Pass man crashed along Highway 260 and was pronounced dead at the scene.
36-year-old John Noveske, the owner of a local rifle manufacturing company, was ejected from his vehicle after crossing the oncoming lane onto a dirt highway. The vehicle first struck two large boulders and then rolled.
Oregon State Police said he was not using safety constraints. According to police, the investigation is ongoing.
