Grants Pass Home Burglarized, Ransacked

GRANTS PASS, Ore. — Another home burglary has been reported in the Rogue Valley, this time in Grants Pass.

Jackson County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 5600 block of Foothill Boulevard in Grants Pass for a report of a residential burglary on Monday.

The sheriff’s office says the burglary happened sometime between Thursday, March 28 and Monday, April 1.

The suspect gained entry into the home by breaking a window near the back door of the home. The door to the garage had been pried open leaving behind damage to the door and door jam.

Due to the condition of the home, the homeowners are still sifting through the mess to determine an exact list of missing items; however, it has been noted that quite a bit of jewelry and money is missing.
