Grants Pass Drug & Firearm Arrest

GRANTS PASS, Ore. — A man was arrested last Wednesday on drug and firearm charges following an investigation by the Rogue Area Drug Enforcement (RADE).

On the 13th of March both RADE detectives and state troopers searched a Grants Pass home to find three-quarters of an ounce of heroin, methamphetamine, and a semi-automatic handgun among other evidence. Most of the heroin was packaged for sale and distribution.

This led to the arrest of 26-year old Shea Marcus New. New is facing charges of unlawful manufacture, possession and delivery of a controlled substance (heroin), unlawful possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), as well as felon in possession of a firearm. He is currently in the Josephine County Jail.
