GRANTS PASS, Ore. — Thousands of people in Southern Oregon rely on help from the Josephine County Food Bank for meals, which is why a local dentist is hoping to help.
Compassionate Dentistry is offering fluoride varnish treatment in exchange for a jar of peanut butter. It’s part of the office’s celebration of Children’s Dental Health Month.
The goal is to help families in two ways. By giving them an opportunity to save $40 dollars on the fluoride treatment, or sugar-free xylitol products, and by giving much needed peanut butter to the Josephine County Food Bank.
The peanut butter offers through the end of the month. If you don’t need the treatment there are other freebies being offered. You can also donate the treatment to a patient in need.
