TIGARD, Ore. — The governor missed the first day of school this week, but he was in class Wednesday.
Governor John Kitzhaber visited a group of kindergartners in Tigard on Wednesday morning. He shared his plan of having a 100% high school graduation rate by the year 2025.
He also said there needs to be a new approach to education and funding.
