Golden Ticket to Willy Wonka

WonkaGRANTS PASS, Ore.– Actors ranging in ages from 8 to 50-years old from the One Eleven Theatre Co. are bringing the classic story of Willy Wonka to life.

The on-stage performance is not the only way they are re-creating the classic tale. As you may remember from the book or movie, people buy chocolate bars for the chance to get a golden ticket into Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory.

Right now, if you buy a chocolate bar from the theater company, you also have the chance to unwrap a golden ticket, which will get you into the show for free.

The theater board president, Sandra Castle said, “The show is really fantastic in the sense that there are a lot of visual things going on: there are a lot of special effects, it’s a cast of 54, it’s a musical, there is tons of singing and dancing and it’s just kind of fun for the whole family”.

The performance runs Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings at Grants Pass High School. You can get more information or purchase tickets by clicking here.
