Rogues Win Wild One Over Gems

MEDFORD, Ore. – The Klamath Falls Gems won their fourth consecutive game to maintain their hold on the third spot in the West Coast League South Division. The Gems rode a complete game by Ian Buckles to a 5-1 road win over Kitsap.

Meanwhile, the Medford Rogues won their ninth consecutive game at home 9-3 over Cowlitz. Kevin Davidson finished 2-4 with a double and three RBI’s, and Brandon Williams threw 5.1 innings of relief, allowing only one unearned run, to nab his third win of the season.

The Gems enter Monday four games out of the second divisional playoff spot. Medford is 4.5 games back. Both teams go for sweeps tomorrow night.
