Hawaii is the most expensive state to buy gas at $4.28. The cheapest place to buy gas is Wyoming at a mere $3.19, although regular in most of the Rocky Mountain states is 85 octane, which is cheaper than the 87 octane we see on the West Coast.
The Oregon average sits below the national average at $3.64.
