CENTRAL POINT, Ore. — A local photographer spent the weekend taking pictures of military families for free. Sarah Malloy said she wanted to take pictures of families who currently have a loved one serving overseas.
She got the idea from a local Eagle Scout, Bryce Thorton, who sends care packages to soldiers serving overseas. The families get free digital and print copies of the photos. Malloy said she plans to provide follow-up photo sessions for the families, once the deployed service member returns home.
