GRANTS PASS, Ore. — The restaurant chain Pita Pit is popular in Southern Oregon, but some of the women working there are getting special attention.
The employees put together a calender and won a company contest. The local franchise owners dressed the employees, all of which are from Jackson and Josephine Counties, in real food and products in the calender. The project was judged best in the company and the founder of Pita Pit traveled all the way from Canada to pass along his congratulations this past Thursday.
With the purchase of one of the calendars, a customer receives a free pita. Pita Pit says, so far, more than 900 calenders have been sold!
