ASHLAND, Ore. — Over the weekend, officials with the Ashland Forest Resiliency Stewardship Project say some of their forestry equipment was vandalized and has caused them delays in their progress.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that when crews returned to work on Monday, a log loader had graffiti on it and a liquid had been poured in to the fuel tank.
Officials say the graffiti said, “Kill cops not trees”. Currently there is no estimates on damage nor suspect information. Officials say they’ve never had trouble in that area before.
