Food For Less Donates To ACCESS

MEDFORD, Ore. — Thousands of local families will be able to put food on their tables thanks to a local business.

Sherm’s Thunderbird and Food For Less grocery stores dropped off about 23,000 pounds of food at the ACCESS food share warehouse. This isn’t the first time the store’s owners have helped access. The Olsrud family has been donating a trailer full of food to ACCESS every single year since 2000.

Last year, ACCESS says it handed out more than 100,000 food boxes to families in need. That’s up 11% from the year before.
