Food Delivered to Oregon Recalled

MEDFORD, Ore. — The United States Department of Agriculture Food Safety and Inspection Service announced recalls Saturday on food products that could be in Oregon refrigerators. B and D Foods, a company based in Idaho, delivered foods contaminated with a form of listeria. Listeria is an organism that has the potential to cause serious and sometimes fatal infections.

Five different products containing beef, pork or chicken are being recalled. However, the only B and D products delivered to Oregon in the recall are frozen bags of  ‘Royal Chicken Tempura’ products.

California, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Montana, Arizona and Ohio have received some of the recalled products containing beef and pork. Click here for the full list.

The USDA issued another recall Saturday for frozen chicken nuggets mislabeled as gluten-free. The products contain wheat and do not disclose that ingredient on the packaging. The products were packaged back in September of last year and distributed to stores in Oregon and Washington among others.

The USDA urges you to return the items to the store for a refund if you’ve purchased Applegate Naturals Gluten-Free Chicken Nuggets.

There have been no reports of illness or bad reactions at this time.
