West side valley locations and the coast will continue to see the fog overnight tonight into tomorrow morning with gradual clearing for some areas but many locations will be socked in through the next several days. Many inland valley locations will see dense fog at times and freezing fog with cause low visibility and slick roads respectively. Air quality will also be decreasing through the week as high pressure persists and a strengthening inversion, you can check air quality levels for your city throughout the day on the weather homepage under ‘Weather Links.’
A cold front will move in Wednesday bringing showers in the afternoon through Thursday. This front will also act to drop our gradually warming temperatures by five to ten degrees from Wednesday to Thursday. Most rain will fall at the coast with showers inland and snow in the higher elevations, a very typical storm system for this time of the year…unlike the last two which brought record breaking snow and freezing rain!
Thanks for logging on and have a great rest of your weekend!
