Dense fog has begun to develop in Medford once again, with visibilities down to 1/4 of a mile. Tomorrow will be very similar to what we saw Sunday. Again, fog and low lying clouds will linger through the morning hours and early afternoon. By mid afternoon the sun will eventually make an appearance! Temperatures will be on the cooler side in the valleys due to the strong inversions building at night. Poor air quality conditions will continue through the day tomorrow as well. Klamath Falls and Medford are both reporting moderate levels, while Lakeview is currently seeing sensitive levels.
A disturbance will move ashore Tuesday morning and bring rain to the Coastline and showers to the Rogue Valley. Rain and snow showers will fall to the East of the Cascades. Wednesday most areas dry out, with the exception of the Coast looking at a chance for showers. Thursday a much stronger cold front will move through our region. This will bring in much cooler weather, dropping snow levels to about 3,000 feet Thursday afternoon and possibly even lower by the evening. This storm is certainly capable of bringing a good several inches to the higher elevations and even to the foothills depending on the timing. We will continue to monitor the storm as it nears!
