High pressure continues to sit over the West. This is bringing very little changes to the forecast from day to day. The dense fog is ongoing across the West Side & Northern Siskiyou County but elsewhere it has eased up since last week. A freezing fog advisory is in place through 10am for the West Side and a dense fog advisory for Douglas County through 10am as well.
High temperatures are climbing into the 50′s & 60′s outside of the fog. Across the Rogue Valley though, highs are struggling to warm as usual. Towards the middle of the week a cut-off low will move into the area, but it is moisture deprived and the only impact we will see is an increase in high clouds with potentially sooner clearing of the morning clouds/fog.
The stagnant air is ongoing as well & the air stagnation advisory has been extended through Saturday now with no changes to come to our forecast. The worst air quality readings continue to be in the Klamath Basin.
