High pressure is building into the West today and this will continue the warming trend that began yesterday. High temperatures will be 10-15 degrees warmer today, climbing into the 70’s & 80’s across the region. Clear skies will be ongoing through the end of the week, keeping the weather very inactive and summer-like for the first week of May.
Wednesday and Thursday much of the area will be flirting with record highs — some of which were set in the 1940’s. Friday temperatures will begin cooling down. Clouds will begin building in on Saturday before showers move in for the second half of Sunday and potentially some thunderstorms as well. Showers look to continue into Monday across all areas.
