FBI Crime Data Released for OR Cities

1MEDFORD, Ore. — The FBI is releasing crime data for cities in Oregon.

The statistics show murder, robbery, aggravated assault and burglary by community. Police say these high numbers go hand-in-hand with the increased rate of drug use in southern Oregon.

“People are more desperate than ever to commit crime, to steal stuff to supply their drug habit or to commit violent crime because their under the influence of those drugs,” said Medford Police Lt. Mike Budreau.

Though, Medford may have a higher occurrence of violent and property crime, the police department has a higher clearance rate or a solving crime rate compared to the national average.

Wow. No murders in Klamath Falls, huh? Well I can think of at least 2 just over the summer. Who comes up with these numbers? But then again, it seems like the feds always have trouble with numbers.

Only because our lazy DA will plea down crimes to close.
Lock up the scum-bags and rid our streets of the cancer that preys at our doorsteps!
Medford is NOT tough on crime.
