Fatal Collision in Klamath Falls

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — Oregon State Police (OSP) and local emergency personnel are on the scene right now of a fatal collision involving a train and a vehicle with two passengers on board off Highway 97, south of Klamath Falls.

At about 10:54 A.M. today, OSP was dispatched to the reported crash along with emergency personnel, and upon arrival it was confirmed that two people in the passenger vehicle were deceased and at least one other person was seriously injured. The train did not derail and no injuries were reported on the train.

Oregon State Police are starting their investigation and no other details are available at this time, but we will continue to give you the most up-to-date information as it becomes available.
