[ORIGINAL STORY] BOSTON, Mass. — 3 people died and over 100 were injured when two bombs went off at the finish line of the Boston Marathon on Monday.

Paramedics treated several victims at the scene. Dozens of people were transported to the hospital.

The blasts happened a seconds apart in downtown Boston’s Copley Square about an hour after the race’s nearly 27,000 runners had crossed the finish line.

Police cleared everyone from the finish line and blocked off the area. More than a dozen runners from Southern Oregon were listed as participating in the Boston Marathon, but initial reports indicate that they are all fine.
